Kari Velazco hails from Georgia and spent her childhood in Jonesboro, GA. After earning her bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of Charleston, she returned to the Atlanta area and eventually made Smyrna, GA her home.

Before joining Dearth Law, Kari worked in the healthcare sector, overseeing physician offices. Following 12 years of managing an orthopedic clinic and an internal medicine office, she decided it was time for a career shift.

In her spare time, Kari enjoys being with her dogs, family, and friends. She has a passion for outdoor events like concerts and festivals, but she finds the most joy in being on the water and staying active. In recent years, she has fallen in love with travelling to new places.
